This nonprofit Foundation was founded in December 2008 by Professor Luc Montagnier, Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology in 2008. Its headquarters is in Geneva, Switzerland.
Its purpose is to promote and fund researches conducted by Professor Luc Montagnier on various diseases plaguing the aging, exploding the social insurance expenditures and reaching more and more younger people : These are cancers, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, joints diseases and neurodegenerative diseases.

These researches focuses on infectious and nutritional factors involved in these diseases, as well as those on epidemic infectious diseases like AIDS.
